Why Ban Plastic – Effect on Online Business

As per the new directions, Maharashtra government has banned the use of plastic. polythene and thermocol. first of all latest try to understand why there is a ban on plastic. plastic was discovered in 1907 and it was made popular in 1960. since 1960 plastic can be seen in every type of household items and perhaps in any item that human used. the plastics are very lightweight, waterproof and durable. in the first instance It is seen that plastic has actually lighten the life of human but the major problem with plastic is its durability. all the living organisms whether it is plant, man, animal after they die, they are decomposed by microbes. the dead bodies are the food of the microbes that decompose it and releases the material and energy into the environment. but plastic is not recognised by microbes as their food. so they are not decompose hence they are durable. as plastics are waterproof they do not allow water to pass through them. this is one of the reason why plastic in drains, in rivers, chokes. this was the only reason why there there was flooding in Mumbai. Again The plastics which are refuse by household they find their place in the landfills. they are not decompose and when the garbage the landfills become used mountain there are chances that it may catch fire which is not stoppable. Hence a landfill is a Time Bomb waiting to be explored. this exactly happened in deonar in Maharashtra in 2016 near Mumbai. The E-Commerce company has banned the use of plastic material but items like garments need plastic wrapping because they are safe in that. water cannot seep inside the item. now if the corrugated box are used then there any chances of soiling of item, theft and damage in return
